What do you like about working at GuildPortal?
"At times, it can provide challenges. While most of the time I've enjoyed that, sometimes it can be ... less enjoyable ... since I'm the only developer. There's really nobody I can call to get help when something I haven't encountered before comes up -- I have to figure it out myself, or the product basically dies. I suppose it's taught me how not to panic."

"Don't bother. We're not hiring at this very moment. Sorry!"
What don't you like about working at GuildPortal?
"I need some direction and purpose, and most of all, I need to work with a team again."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I am running the show, and there are many things I would have done differently as the company matured, if I could go back and make changes. I would have gotten over my fear of losing control over the source and hired a few programmers in 2007. I would have put more money back into the company. I would have designed the support process differently."
