"Get rid of all the HR people and stop perpetuating the myth that the company has any moral values. They don't."

"Learn to be real leaders with long term vision and development of their people besides just focusing on bottomline"

"The commercial real estate industry has it's ups and downs but Grubb & Ellis has been around for over 50 years."

"Executive changes every 3 years."

"Try to retain the same management team for more than 3 years."

"The Property Mangement office had a very high turnover, & very difficult to judge."

"I very much enjoyed the constant interaction with the tenants &vendors. I was constantly arranging meetings and events and was quite often left alone to handle the office, & enjoyed the challenge of multi-tasking."

"Make sure you thoroughly research the company and the specific location you may work in. Also, check for company growth and it's reputation."

"There was constant turn over in that paticular office, so there was no structure. Eventually the bank I worked for took over the office where I became the Exec. Asst. to the CEO & President."

"The office I worked in was no longer owned by Grubb & Ellis, so I do not feel my suggetions would apply."

Major interaction with clients. Great environment with major emphasis on teamwork. Executive Secretary to Sr. VP. - Extremely fast-paced working environment involving major multi-tasking skills."
