"too many hierarchy restrictions, difficult for large scale changes to be implemented, too much politics in higher academics"

"interact more with employees, engage more feedback, provide consistent updates, clearly outline expectations, make more time for fun interactions"

"I like that all the professors, not only the professor I work for, are helpful with job hunting as well as other opportunities."

"This is an excellent opportunity that will help students finance their degree as well as learn more about the field as they do so."

"I don't like all the distractions from students coming in and out of the office. It is difficult to concentrate."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management should regulate hours that all graduate assistants work. Some assistants aren't always honest when filling out their forms. This is not fair to others who work the required hours."

"I enjoy how busy I am and the fact that I get to analyze data about my projects and homework"

"The only tip for this job is that you could get a high GPA."

"Actually I like everything about working in RIT. I left because I have graduated."

"Actually I have no ideas about this question. I think the management is good for me."

"JMU has an environment that makes me feel part of the University, not just passing through and getting a degree"

"No. JMu has a career fair and anybody can use that opportunity to get a brief interview with students."

"I think the stipend given to me as a Graduate assistant could be increase a little more."

"Keep the good work of student and professor relationship and keep the focus"

"People are very helpful since this a small community. Great place to live"

"Not many. Be yourself, people are very friendly. HR can be problem to clear."

"Extremely stressful and little or no support with constant threat of being fired."

"Remind that we are a team and success of department and students is a group effort."

"I enjoyed the constant push for improvement. There was always something new to learn."

"Find a supervisor that you can get along with well. Not only are their research goals important, their personality is as well."

"The pressure for grades, distracted supervisor, and lack of home-life were negative in my life."

"I do not know that the pressure for grades and publications is necessary. I would find a different motivating mechanism."

"Nothing at all. I only work there because I am in a graduate program, and they provide me money."

"Um. Just get out of there. What's the point of getting a job there."

"It totally sucks there. I wish I was out of there soon."

"I would at least make it less demanding, more about researching."
