Digital Media Coordinator

"Yoplait is a wonderful company to work for as a Digital Media Coordinator."

What do you like about working at General Mills?

"There were many perks for working for such a large company like Yoplait, especially being underneath the General Mills corporate umbrella. My co-workers were energetic and friendly, and the environment was professional, neat and organized. Overall, the company had a great atmosphere and great working environment."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be very professional and friendly to everyone you encounter. Associates from this company have more than likely been employed for a long time. I'm not saying there's ever a time to NOT be polite to someone, but everyone within the company knows someone who could put in a good word for you."

What don't you like about working at General Mills?

"The Digital Media Coordinator position that I was hired for was an experiment. Management wanted to try a new means of training associates through digital media, and I was hired in as the first attempt of leading the training department in that direction. The job was difficult because the computer's hardware was not up to speed with Graphic Design standards, and the company couldn't afford the position after a year which lead to me being laid off."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest management takes a little more time in researching a position before it is open within the company. This would better help prepare them for the financial, and equipment preparations needed to fulfill the position's needs."
