"Teamwork, emphasis on being proactive, strict following of policies and procedures."

"Company no longer exists but if it did, just be yourself, be prepared, research the company and find out as much as possible about the position being applied for and see how you would fit with the team (peers and management)."

What don't you like about working at Electronic Data Systems?

"Failing to keep promises made but understood due to the fact that business at and for EDS began to go down soon after I joined and is even now under the umbrella of HP."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None. I was lucky to be reporting to excellent and well prepared people at EDS. Had business not gone so bad for the company, I think that in time they would have kept the promise (which was moving away from the legacy applications and going into Enterprise Class ERP Applications in SAP and/or Oracle's eBusiness)."

"Traveling and the exposure to all sorts of lines of business."

"Be very upfront about what you want out of the position (travel, experience, training, etc.)."

"Very long work weeks averaging 70+ hours."

"Work on the work/life balance issue."
