"I went to Millstone with Stone and Webster after the 3 mile Island accident and therefor worked at the last Nuclear Plant that completed construction before the industry changed dramatically."

What do you like about working at Dominion?

"I wore work boots to work, could go out and see the pipe that I was scheduling, and saw real work progress."

What don't you like about working at Dominion?

"the construction people were so anxious about losing their jobs once the power plant was complete, that they actually took apart work they had installed just to remain employed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I was actually offered a job by the power company when I had announced I was leaving Stone and Webster for personal reasons, I moved out of town. I was a woman working on a construction site at a time when very few women were given positions in management. I suspect that has changed and more women are managers."
