"ignorant hactic place with demanding managers, discirmination against age and race differences, no right training and challenge, no communication at all"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"opet communication, ignorance and non communicating work place does not work for me, people are monitoring other people and reporting to ignorant boss"

"Heavy workload and little micro-management. A very entrepreneurial environment for those that are ambitious."

"Be aggressive ambitious because there are many talented people in the organization."

"Heavy workload means long hours and pay is not great for salary employees."

"Create a coherent management structure. Use the companies size to create synergy among different departments."

"Colliers International is a great Company, but the team that I work on within Colliers is inequitable and the work environment is not great. Colliers as a whole provides good training and a lot of resources for their employees to succeed, unfortunately I am just on a team that is not led well and structured poorly"

"Again if you are joining a brokerage team do a lot of due diligence on the individuals you will be working with. I made this mistake"

What don't you like about working at Colliers International?

"I have nothing bad to say about the company. They are a good. If you are getting into the business though, and looking to partner with a senior broker, be very careful choosing the senior broker you work with"

"None. The management does a great job. They provide good training and tools for success"

"It's a great culture and the poeple are team oriented can-do attitudes."

"Please bring a team approach and a positive attitude to work with you on a daily basis."

"The growth oppurtunities from a techonolgy perspective are limited based on the fact we are a flat company."

"To continue learning the capapbilities of its employees and their job functions."

"I like the sales and negotiation aspect of my company. Interacting with CEO's and CFO's on a daily basis and helping them renegotiate their new lease or relocate"

"Be open and honest with who you are and it you think you can make it in CRE, do it."

"The only aspect I do not like about commercial real estate is the 100% commission aspect, unfortunately, that is the way this business operates"

"The merger with the main company has been painfull. Upper management makes decisions without even considering fully the consequences."

"Build up the company and sell it."

"You never know where you stand with management. You can get a great review one day and the next be the worst employee."

"For the most part I felt like the work was unmanageable."

"Streamlining the manager's portfolio and strenthening the support staff would create a happier environment, creating more productive employees, reduce burnout and resulting in better service to the client and minimizing turnover."

"There is very little room for professional growth, and therefore, I am seeking out new opportunities to apply my current knowledge and to learn new knowledge and skills. In addition, it would be wonderful if I am to find a mentor in a new position."
