"Terrible. You go in with a lot of ideas and engergy and it gets sucked away."

What do you like about working at BroadVision?

"Not much. People are friendly but morale is low. Office is comfortable and bright."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't work here - it won't be anything like what they sell you in the interviews. No one feels good about the work they have to do and you won't be able to bring your best skills to use. You will be frustrated every day, and amazed at the lack of progress and bad decisionmaking. There have been virtually no new customers in North America in 3 years. They have no idea how to create a good product or sell or market it. You won't make any money in sales and you will be ignored in marketing. If you are in product dev, you will be mired in disorganization and nonsense."

What don't you like about working at BroadVision?

"Low morale, sense that company is going nowhere, worry that the CEO will suddenly want to change focus at the drop of a hat. Nothing is done well because the CEO is the final say on everything and he thinks he's the only one who knows anything. Decisions are mostly non sense and without input from the people with the right expertise."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be honest with the CEO. Don't support bad decisions and don't sell people a job that doesn't exist."

"Depressing, frustrating, ridiculous. Focus is on all the wrong things."

What do you like about working at BroadVision?

"Work/life balance pretty good. Co-workers for the most part are great, trying to do a good job. Some very smart people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't believe what they tell you. No one gets to make decisions, and you won't be able to fix or improve anything. There will be no budget and decisions by management will make no sense. You will end up just as frustrated and unhappy as most of the rest of us, and you will have no job security."

What don't you like about working at BroadVision?

"No one feels empowered. Processes are broken or non existent, customer is the last thing they think about. Product is sub-standard, and about to be pitched for another one that makes no sense. Leadership is non-existent because CEO micromanages everything and doesn't listen to anyone else. Company goal is to support CEO in regaining his glory days. Morale is terrible and everyone agrees that comany will never thrive under current CEO."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire a business focused leader and build a realistic business plan."
