"The other employees. Everyone always had a positive attitude that really made the work day fun, and go by quickly and smoothly."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Keep in mind with OnDemand and Redbox that the video store industry is losing a great deal of customers. As the customer base thins so do the hours available for employees."
What don't you like about working at Blockbuster?
"I didn't like the shot shifts. I don't like planning my day around a three hour shift."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Instead of having everyone work every holiday, I would suggest a sign up sheet that would allow people to sign up for which ones they would like to work and which ones they would like to have off. I would base the sign up priority upon quarterly sales."

"Know your current movies, be patient with customers. It's retail."

"Not much, they did a pretty good job of being a decent company."

"Train holiday hires more thoroughly, it's hard to deal with a staff that doesn't know what they're doing."
