"Ashford University Admissions is Sales. You have minimal control of the leads that you get and are expected to perform with what you get. Job security is non-existent, the turn over rate is incredible. Good pay and benefits, but not a good job for people without natural sales ability."

Additionally, as an educational institution, they do not reward those with higher levels of education; there are several examples of subordinates having higher-level and better quality educations than their managers and even VP's. To make matters worse, there is no advancement with this company unless you know somebody."

"I have worked for Ashford for almost three years and have unfortunately found it to be a company driven by the need to make a profit and not by ethical practices with regard to employees or students. Faculty are not respected and many students are admitted without the skills needed to succeed."

"There really isn't anything I dont like about working for Ashford University. I have a had a great learning experience there and they are helping me by paying for my tuition to complete my masters degree program."

"I feel that even as far up as their upper management that they do an outstnading job and treat thier employees very fairly and do everything they can possibly do to help an employee be successfull."

"allow instructors more freedom to change lesson especially if poorly done. Discussion questions did not initia critical thinking simply an essay question, that could be looked up and copied."
