"I've worked at AUS for two years. Great people, but there's a lack of innovation which makes sense given the nature of the industry."
"Bad Company to work for. Work out ways the pay. Supervisors lie constantly. If you are not on drugs, snorting cocaine on lunch break, on alcoholic or if one of the supervisors is not sexually attracted to you then you will not get ahead at this company. You have to kiss lots of butt or go off on the managers or supervisors in order to get a raise. They will Work you like a slave then get rid of you replace you with someone that does not know anything."
"Great place to work with plenty of opportunities to grow and contribute. Management is supportive, professional and dialed in to the work environment. The benefits are generous, with ample vacation accrual, sick and floating days. Individual birthdays are celebrated by giving the employee a paid day off and there's one day out of the year where we celebrate "Employee Appreciation Day." Just like any other work environment, there's always room for improvement. The exciting part is, you can always find a fellow employee who shares like-minded ideas of areas for improvement."
"No flexibility, too many hours, and travel as more than expected"
"Aramark Uniform Services is the worst organization I have ever worked for. Brad Drummond and Mike Fadden have built a toxic culture that is bottom line driven and puts people LAST. They say they want to make it a great place to work, but their actions do not support or demonstrate that. There is no loyalty, appreciation or respect for any employee. They take no time to get to know their people or anything about their personal lives. Mike Fadden leads by fear and intimidation and people are constantly walking on eggshells around him from the VP level down. The only incentive to do a good job is to not get fired or chastised by Mike. He has zero people skills, shows very little respect for anyone, and makes decisions in a vacuum. People are afraid to speak out or disagree for fear of retribution. I've seen VPs that are close to nervous breakdowns because of the stress and anxiety he causes. This is not a place to work if you value your emotional or physical health. And speaking of health, the benefits are horrible."
"Aramark is a good company to work for in sales since it gives you a lot of autonomy to do the work and the opportunity to make good commission if you meet quotas. Like any other company there are issues you have to live with but overall the rating is positive."
"This company likes to use antiquated equipment then push it beyond its capabilities."
"I worked at Aramark for 3 1/3 years. The company has become very political and doesn't really look out for it's staff. In the 3 1/3 years at the company there have been 6 RIFs. Some involved loyal employees who had 25 to 35 years of service."
"I was not employed by ARAMARK Uniform & Career Apparel long enough to have an opinion about them. In addition, my employment experience was not memorable enough to have any type of comment regarding such."
"Not a company that I would recommend. VP and president only care about sales goals and increasing top line. Service is not a concern of this company."
