What do you like about working at Aflac?
Company had training but you had to pay for some of it as a condition of employment. The marketing department did a good job of creating presentation packages.
What don't you like about working at Aflac?
Straight commission with no account provided. You had to purchase everything you need to work. The company provided nothing. Very few agents are be seen as management material.
What suggestions do you have for management?
Build a better support network. Give a more accurate picture of what working an outside straight commission job is like.

Straight Commission tough job very little support
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
Wear a white dress shirt and a tie if you are a man. I walked in the office on a lot of interviews--they pretty much hire anyone and everyone who can pass a criminal background check and pass a life / health exam.

What do you like about working at Aflac?
Being my own boss and making my own work schedule.
What don't you like about working at Aflac?
Poor local support. As a new agent the local management turned me out with very little support and training.
What suggestions do you have for management?
Estasblish a much more agressive training program. The money you spent will come back.

Great company but local support was poor.

realize the business your getting in. This is the hardest form of sales. Selling product that you'll never see.

Loved the company, but had no insurance for its employees, strange for an insurance company.

A spouse that can insure you would be a great thing working for this company.

What do you like about working at Aflac?
I was able to help business owners supply employees with aditional insurance.
What don't you like about working at Aflac?
Too unpredictable. Income was not stable.
