"The overall company was ok to work for, but the pay wasn't too good for all the work I was given."

"Technology is not a specialty here, education is. You can learn a lot here, but you can't always apply or practice what you have learned."

"Focus more on leading and coaching your employees instead of doing their work for them. Get to a place where you can trust people to do their jobs and you won't have to put every thing through a committee."

"Even though I was the least experienced admin asst, top management recognized my talents and offered me opportunities different from the other admins."

"I worked for the software development division. Lots of jobs for CAD/CAM/CAE computer programmers but not much opportunities for other talents."
What don't you like about working at Electronic Data Systems?
"When I decided to try new opportunities outside the admin arena, it was difficult because others always seem to see me as an admin and nothing more."
What do you like about working at Bechtel?
"Earned every other Friday off, coworkers, most managers."

"Be ready for boot camp. Tough to do but the company makes you tough."

"Earlier years were rough on support staff. Since 2000 the company made great strides to become more employee oriented, I believe."

"Keep the rank and file in mind regarding all decisions."

"Had never worked for a Helicopter Manufacturer before. Very exciting for someone at my age at that time."

"Very little; this was not a good fit for me from the onset."
What don't you like about working at Santa Paula Unified School District?
"Just about everything. I came from the private sector arena, so I was accustomed to doing whatever necessary to complete a task. I was reprimanded twice for breaking union rules by filling the copier with paper on my own and without the assistance of a maintenance technician."

"Review job descriptions and save money!"

"Honestly, the name carries a lot of weight. I desperately needed a job at the time, and after starting as a temp, I was selected to become a full time employee."

"Be sharp. Be happy. Be confident."

"The beauracracy, the separation of Hospital and University (politics), the lack of career advancement opportunities, salary."
