What do you like about working at 360networks?

"There was a phenominal atmosphere in the workplace. We had everything we needed and/or wanted to do our jobs and we both worked and played hard. The majority of the people in the Broomfield office and in the field in the states were awesome. Greg MaffeI visited us several times and his enthusiasm was infectious. Too bad this all occured during the dot com burst and the fall of Enron era."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Hopefully it's more stable now... Good luck and enjoy the telecom industry! Hurray for fiber!"

What don't you like about working at 360networks?

"After we filed for Chapter 11 in '01, our CEO gave us stock options and promised us greater rewards if we could just get through Chapter 11 and emerge through hard work and devotion -- so work hard we did... extremely so. On the very day that we were not only emerging from Chapter 11, but also purchasing a company based in Canada, he sent the CFO to our office in Broomfield to announce that we were all being let go (all but 12 acct mgrs) to accommodate the new employees of the company WE purchased. A devastating betrayal to all of us who gave so much time and effort to save a sinking ship."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I sincerely hope there is not a single soul left from the former management. Being based in Canada, they were completely heartless and ruthless to those of us in the states once they found out we were being let go. I hope each and every one of them eventually experienced the same pain we did."
