"Vail Resorts is a big strong corporation to work at. They definitely are a big company and getting value from their employees. Although they don't pay much, the harder you work the more they pay you, and there are some nice down to earth people who were my supervisors, so I would recommend it."

"I like the casual work environment, flexibility, and skiing perks that come with my job."

"It's great to say that you want to grow within the company, but don't expect to."

What don't you like about working at Vail Resorts?

"The pay is not competitive, and living near a resort takes a toll on your expenses. Vail Resorts does not seem concerned with that and sees employee turnover as a good thing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would take more time to listen to the operations employees at the mountain locations (we struggle with daily living expenses.) and move the corporate headquarters back to the mountains."

"Move to Vail after graduating college and spend a season skiing and working for the resort. Best life decision you could make."

"Twelve hour night shifts and low pay."
