The original owner was great and made the company dynamics such that everyone felt part of the organization like a family. It made for a very tight-knit, team-oriented environment. The new owners came in and ran it like a company and told everyone that this is not a family, it's a business. It changed the entire feel of the organization. They also went for years not giving employees any type of cost-of-living increases and it felt very cold and impersonal.
