"I have worked for CCA for just over a year now, and it has been a truly unique experience. I must say that I have a wonderful supervisor, who is generous, kind, and truly cares about my well being. I can't say that about most of the other employees in our facility. A large portion of the employees are very young, often recent high school graduates, who lack the maturity or intelligence level to do their jobs effectively. Many of the rest are people who have been there for years."
"I make 25 cents more than the state minimum wage, despite my college degree, & was skipped over for a raise this year along with the other 16,000+ employees in the entire company. My title was changed to accommodate our newest contract so I am doing the work of two full-time positions at a pay rate less than the average fast food worker. The benefits offered are appealing but unless you are employed on the security side or at the executive level, this is a sub-par business to earn a paycheck at."
