"Our management is terrible. He spends to much time kissing mall management butts and letting them run our security department. Anytime there's a confrontation he doesn't show up like he should and if he does he's quick to leave you by yourself. If there was a fire and your working with him he would leave you behind to handle everything while he himself leaves and runs home. He doesn't communicate anything that he should to his staff and if you tell him something that needed to be passed on forget about him remembering it."

"Valor Security has been the worst security job that I had ever worked for. I had worked for them for nearly 5 years and all they know how to do is write up anyone for any little thing. Even worse Valor loves to hire individuals that like to abuse their power and treat everyone like they're idiots. They fire a lot good hard working employees than they do hiring, and everyone is treated like a number, not as a person. Overall lousy pay, terrible benefits."

"Don't waste your time. Zero room for advancement... raises are few and far between and WAY below any standard. Upper management only cares about the client. If the client wants something they get it... even if it violated policy. Job will suck the life out of you. Religious zealot for a director and the regional director is worthless. Human resources is a waste of time... hostile work environment for sure and complaints to human resources get swept under the rug. Don't bother."

"I've worked for Valor Security since November 2010 and while at first I loved the job, but over the years I started to dislike the job after realizing I only got an 11 cent raise over the course of 3 years. The job can be very easy on some days, but other days the job can be a bit demanding."
