"Not a great place for an FPGA engineer. New FPGA design opportunities are limited and cross-functional work is hard to accomplish due to poor communication between teams."

Software Operator

"I love technologies and cars and Zoox has been a point where those meet. They're developing self driving cars from ground up for safer transportation in the future. I am all about it and supporting them as a software operator. They provide a safe work environment and are all about safety of everyone. With lots of team leads and operation managers to support the team, job gets done smoothly even if issues come up as they are always there to help. Also they have a huge snack bar and provide catered lunch. Biggest bonus is a parking garage in SF!!!"

Tactician

"I've worked for Zoox for about 6 months now. Wasn't the place I was expecting it to be. Heard great things, was expecting the best, but as soon as I get in, was the complete opposite. I am ready to make a move from the autonomous industry to a more customer, scheduling, and analyzation of product base industry."

"Overall the people and the environment is really good however few teams are unsure about their tasks and what they are doing. The work there is a lot and you can forget about your work life balance."

"I worked for Zoox for 2 months. It is a company growing at a very fast pace because of which the leads and supervisors are not being able to handle the demand. The training culture is very unorganized and employees are expected to learn somehow without proper training."
