"I physically have to work at my desk 10-14 hours per day."

"I think that they are doing a great job servicing their clients."

"People were great, but make sure you're in a department that supports your growth and learning. Not a lot of time put into developing skills, have to create and learn on the fly. Hours and compensation were rough. Opportunity to learn right out of school but little effort for management to get to know you since the company is so large."

"Zimmerman has terrible corporate culture. The CEO, his partners and senior managers think they know everything worth knowing and no one else knows anything. Not their clients or employees.They hire creative and motivated people, and then don't let them do anything except follow the formula.They pay very well, but employment is a revolving door. Talented professionals either quit out of frustration, or get fired for not saying yes fast enough."

"The location and weather. Many of the people in mid to lower management have great personalities. Its like being on the titanic and gathering together to shelter from the disaster."

"Decline. Its not worth the pain you will get from working there"

"Its Terrible. They take 24/7 too seriously. Also they are abusive and nasty. Upper management treats people like they are machines not humans. Great place to be cursed at, screamed at and generally treated with disrespect. But no worries HR will cover it up"

"They need to stop the abuse and get back to the dream."

"Everyone is so over worked.It's a pretty hostile environment and upper management has zero appreciation for their staff."

"Start treating your employees with respect. Pay people what they are worth."

"Not too much-there's nothing really enjoyable about working there. Maybe a few good people here and there."

"Run in the other direction-and fast. This company does nothing to foster a sustainable job-it's where people go to fill in the gaps while they look for a real job-one that actually won't make you sick or demand so much time that your pay against hours worked is so ridiculously low that it doesn't make sense."

"Just about everything. The bullying and fear based environment comes from the top down and it's really quite a turn-off."

"Value your people, because without them-you have nothing. Spend some money on your staff or allow them to actually use the vacation they accrue without feeling their job is threatened!"

"I liked that its a large company with a personal feel. Regardless of whether an employee was upper management or lower, doors were always open for communication."

What don't you like about working at Zimmerman Advertising?

"In LA, Zimmerman is a field office. The headquarters is based out of Ft Lauderdale, Florida. At times this was quite challenging, because most communication being made was through phone or email. Although everyone was always helpful, I prefer face to face interaction over email and telephone"
