"I love the work--the pay is good, working with the kids is great. lots of freedom in that sense."

"be qualified for job, love helping people, and be ok with going from home to home for your work."

What don't you like about working at Youth Advocate Programs?

"but the beauracratic tape is pretty messy and I spent lots of weekends at boring and pointless training-- the leadership there was really flimsy-- I felt super supported and then totally disconnected. this is what I mean by flimsy."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"more cohesion and connectedness between staff members and more of a sense of responsibility to staff people as professionals (if they are that) and less micro management"
