"Company should have road map for at least 2 years and cannot re-org multiple times regular intervals. Employees lose confidence."

"No reviews for managers. Project planning should be accepted be even with team members."

"They should think about whether manager is capable of managing team."

"I have worked at Yahoo(Verizon Media) for over 2 years! The culture of the people still bleeds purple and great to work with! But there is a lot of company politics involved things change quite often. Depending on what team you are working for, it can be the best or mediocre experience."

"It was a very dynamic environment, with some of the most intelligent and driven employees I have had the pleasure to work with."

"Don't be afraid to ask questions, even the hard ones. Employees will be frank and answer to the best of their abilities."

What don't you like about working at Yahoo?

"The tools we had to use were limited in functionality. There was also a lack of cohesiveness in the toolsets available, with multiple properties using different tools, very few of which were driven by a centralized tools team."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus. Multiple times projects were taken up, only to be dropped... then picked up again, then summarily dropped... and picked up yet again. This is a waste of resources and money."

"Great people who are very smart and dedicated to the business and products."

"Enjoy the interview, it will be an interesting experience that should not be missed."

"Senior management operate in their own stovepipe, putting their division goals ahead of company goals."

"Form a cohesive management team, develop a set of goals and priorities for the company and hold people accountable."

"I've worked for Yahoo for 3 years and 4 different CEOs. If you are looking for a stable company that treats employees well then Yahoo might be for you. If you are looking for a company that works efficiently, values innovation, or rewards talent then you should move on.Yahoo teams are poorly managed and employees are treated like numbers. If you don't mind being a well-paid number that can skate by under the radar then go to Yahoo. If you want to be challenged then Yahoo is not for you."

"I dislike the middle management in our group and the few leaders that partake in dirty politics."

"I did not enjoy the lack of career opportunities that I had after the Microsoft partnership."

"As a manager myself, I would suggest that a more streamlined process for communication."
