Account Manager

What do you like about working at Yahoo?

"My job is interesting and challenging. I work with a great group of peers. Yahoo provides excellent benefits (medical, vacation time etc.). Our offices are in a nice area and easily reachable by transit. The hours are in line with the position. Not too many late nights or weekends."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be very clear in the role you are interviewing for. Not uncommon to hire for one position and change your role once hired."

What don't you like about working at Yahoo?

"My manager is not a manager. They do not provide feedback or mentoring. The feedback given is always negative and demeaning. VERY passive aggressive! Top management does not share their goals/vision for the company. There doesn't seem to be no leadership."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"More communication with the employees. Sharing of goals/vision. Address staffing issues - constant stream of resignations. It's not that we are so talented that people poach our employees - it's your employees are unhappy."
