"Not at this time. My division is disolved. after 3 years of removing core employees the division was closed."

"Too many guidelines from Parent Co. (International Paper Co.) not related to our division."

"Leave 30 years of success alone. ROI was 50-102%. Many changes the last 3 years were ideas that were tried before."

"Just to be honest, and ask plenty of questions of the direction of the company."

"The fact that they don't treat there service techs the same as there other employees."

"My manager was great, but he left to go to another company once he saw the direction the company was going."

"Able to control every aspect of your store from product selection to sell price. Great autonomy for management."

"Negotiate salary up front as raises are minimal & you rely on bonuses."

"Not much room for advancement beyond store management. Tell us about openings in other areas."

"Don't close stores division. Many stores make amazing profits for company."

"When I had to call on customers and offered the double rewards program is like making anf obligating the customer to buy from the company."

"To keep up the good work as well as the great workers. To continue treating their employees the same with respect, dignity, and recognize the hard work they put in daily."

"yes, to always listen and pay close attention, show your best positve attitude and always remain professional."

"When I had to call customers in regards to the double rewards program every month."

"High production, fast paced. Responsibility for entire warehouse inventory (warehouse #1=paper, warehouse #2 Office ' Industrial supplies and cleaners). Interaction and communication with customers, business and workers."

"Make sure you can handle a fast paced, often high pressure, deadline orientated work environment. Also make sure you are willing to work sometimes 10-12 hour days."

"Back orders, defective product returns and late scheduled deliveries."

"Always communicate effectively with your workers / staff. Acknowledge that there are acceptable margins of error."

"Be ready to sell yourself, in whatever capacity you are interviewing. If it is for a sales position, read the fine print."

What don't you like about working at Xpedx?

"Our small division here in Boise has unique challenges. The xpedx business model is built around larger divisions and metropolitan areas, and doesn't quite fit our smaller area. Where certain procedures are mandated by xpedx corporate, it sometimes doesn't allow us to be a competitive as is necessary, hence why we have struggled in the Boise area. Additionally, because we have such a large product line, and I currently am the only person associated with the sale and service of equipment, I perform the duties of what are four different job descriptions in a larger division of xpedx. While I am very flexible, the opportunity to narrow my focus sounds somewhat appealing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To allow our smaller division the flexibility that would enable us to be competitive. We need the ability to work with our customers on their terms. They are the people with the money, and if we fail to take our lead from them, we not only will fail, we deserve to."
