"I am a contractor, so no opportunity for growth. They have a freeze right now."

"To work on Team Work. I don't see team work."

"I really didn't have anything that I didn't like about the company it was a great place to be."

"My manager was outstanding and I wouldn't ask him to change anything about himself."

"Just like any position someday are better than others but over all I wouldn't complain."

"None, Peter was an outstanding manager and I really miss him."

"Worked with talented helpful coworker technicians, excellent people, easily the best part of working there."

"Beware. It's confirmed that XO pays way less across the board than similar companies. Sketchy company future. It's a god-send that I got an incredibly better job with another company, doing practically the same thing, for way more $$$ than I'd ever made."

What don't you like about working at XO Communications?

"Laid off 10/2011 along w/ 400 others nationwide, this layoff involved many more technicians than previous layoffs had. Powerless, untrustworthy management. Senior management never concerned with individuals, only metrics. Zero training. Customer's outlook of the company was mediocre to poor."

"Management demonstrated obvious favoritism. Senior management seemed to be the only real management."

"Do background on XO, its investors, its current technology, and management."

What don't you like about working at XO Communications?

"When I was there, a large portion of our customer base was unhappy with the service XO provided. That made getting customer referrals difficult and retaining old clients almost impossible."

"Continue to improve upon the technology and customer service."

"I do like the opportunity to learn having not performed this job function in the past.."

"Be secure in your knowledge and willing to go out on your own to learn all you want to learn because the company does not support you."

"There has been no support for training or encouragement to lean and grow."

"Listen to the people on the front line. Realize that not everyone knows everything and it would help to train more people."
