"Be prepared like any other interview. They aren't going to hire someone that doesn't know what they're talking about."

"Sometimes we can get encumbered in process to a point where significant delays happen."

"None right now. At least in my unit has fairly good management."

"Great team environment and mutual respect with coworkers. My manager was very knowledgeable and supportive. CEO held meetings on a regular basis to keep the employees informed of business goals."

"To be yourself and show you are willing to work in a team environment."
What don't you like about working at XL Insurance?
"The CEO sold the company. Previously it was known as ECS Environmental, after being sold the company became XL Insurance. After a transition period, management was restructured."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My only suggestion would be for the new management team to trust and respect previous ECS management."

"Small company, good work environment. Everyone works towards the same goal."

"Be confident. It is a great place to work and we aren't looking to solve crazy problems. If you can do the work and can work well on a team, you are set."

"Small company, lower salaries, minimum benefits, no 401(k) matching, bare-minimum vacation, company parties are in house, new equipment can be slow to roll out."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"More vacation/holiday vacation. We always seem to work when everyone else has vacation days off. Make it easier and more acceptable for developers to have work from home days. It is sometimes difficult."
