"If they interview you, they want you. They tend to hire from customers a lot."

"You need to fend for yourself at times, teamwork gets stretched to breaking point at times due to the fast hard hitting nature of the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Im not sure I do have any. Anything that could be changed would stop this from being the dynamic place to work that I experience. Also, they made this VERY clear over the course of them courting me for the job."

"The technology was top notch and leading edge. It was easy to explain the superior solutions"

"understand this is a very fast paced book it now and run to the next customer. You will get called out if you spend time on past customers"

What don't you like about working at Xirrus?

"Customer service was almost non existent. Book the order then forget the customer was pushed by VP of Sales"

"Take care of your existing customers. Too many bad references from existing customers due to support not product performance."

"I would suggest that the candidate obtain the Certified Wireless Network Administrator Certification."

What don't you like about working at Xirrus?

"Reimbursement for expenses when traveling for business. The company has had cash flow issues and continue to go to VC for more funding."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that the company get the federal certifications FIPS140-2 and JITICs."

"Good people, nice product. The company has a culture, however, of pushing people hard and punishing harsh as well. As a result, most people are motivated by fear, rather than more positive reasons. Expect to work weekends frequently, getting off work between 6:30-7:00 pm, be constantly overwhelmed with deadlines and big challenges. This company is better for people who are starting their careers, or do not have families."
