"Very disappointed. Heard good things about working at WoW - even from former co-workers.... Then *completely* let down! Sexual discrimination. Wasn't in the "good 'ol boys" club, so I was treated unfairly. Far too many 'clicks' at this company. Didn't get proper training either. Male co-workers refused to help me and train me properly (I was the only female on the team). Seems I was always walking on eggshells around management. And they apparently took preference to the guys and their words, over me/mine. I was new to the company, but not the field. 10 years' tenure. I really wanted this to be my new career. But I guess not. Also got denied training I was asking for continuously. And career development opportunities didn't exist. Oh and don't have any medical issues if you want to work there. They don't care. Health insurance and RX plan are actually pretty good, but 401k match is a joke."
"WOW! is a great company to work for, however, it is also very disorganized and does not have the proper structure that I'm looking for to advance within the company."
"I have worked for Wide Open West for 3 years now and its time for a change. This company is very disorganized and unsure of solutions to help employees complete their jobs on a daily basis. I enjoy the environment and the people I work alongside, however, the tools and resources that we have are not reliable and stable to see that the job gets done on a consistant degree."
"Very employee focused. There are many programs in place and incentive based motivating tools to use in order to improve morale and customer service. Departments are actually encouraged to work together to get the customer issues handled. I felt like I was important to management and to the company as a whole."
