2.6 On the whole, Worthington Industries isn't a bad company. They have excellent benefits and good compensation. If you get a job that you like, you can thrive there, especially if you're at a plant. The corporate team offices are a very different world, though. It's an extreme open office environment that allows for no privacy unless you're an executive or HR, so you'll constantly feel like people are watching you work. There were times when I struggled to do my job because my coworkers would be catching up with each other and it's hard to concentrate on something when people are talking right next to you. The leadership team struggles to communicate expectations well during times of change. The company line of "treat others how you want to be treated" seems to be dying as I saw a lot of people treated with little respect by their coworkers and leaders. I don't regret my time working for Worthington, but I don't know if I'd ever want to go back.

2.1 Good benefits. Decent profit sharing but don't expect it to be what is promised. Company philosophy is preached about from high but rarely ever followed by Management or the Executives. In fact, it is used as an excuse to not do the right thing or get the job done. HR always sides with management. Employee Council is only for show. If you step out of line, show to much initiative, try harder than their pets, or just say the wrong thing, you will be targeted, pushed out or termed!

4.4 I have worked at Worthington Industries for two years in the Engineered Cabs purchasing department. The skills I learned, the way I was treated as an employee and understanding the true Worthington way are all amazing take aways from this company. Unfortunately, the division I worked for was sold at the end of 2019 ending my time at Worthington.
