Regional Director of Sales

"I worked as a sales director for 2 years for Merrell footwear, the largest of brands in the 12 brand Wolverine Worldwide portfolio. During my time there, I had the opportunity to learn a new category, and I worked alongside incredibly talented, and dedicated people. I value my time at Merrell."

Wolverine Worldwide Employee

"I've worked here five years. There's been two huge layoffs in that time that gutted critically important systems, and big projects are gridlocked because of it. Managment lays off older full- time employees and hires new young professionals straight out of college as contractors, but then won't listen to them at all. Nobody but the very top has any authority to make decisions. Micromanagment is very prevalent. The people in charge trust their own gut feelings over the experience of their experts, and hold very toxic views of their newly hired "millennials"."

Footwear Designer

"I worked for Wolverine Worldwide for around 5 years and found it to be a fun but sometimes frustrating place to work. There was nothing set in place for advancement for footwear designers and I've known some known some designers to have worked there for nearly a decade before being promoted from a Jr. designer to a designer II. Most design work is contracted out with no real design team to learn from and bounce ideas off of."
