"I have worked as a contractor for Gore fora couple of years. It is a great place to work that understands work/life balance unlike any other company I've ever worked for. I am just sorry that permanent positions within Gore are so limited and it can be difficult to get hired on. Really my only complaint about this company. Everything else is exceptional. Probably the best job I've ever had."

"I worked for WLGore for 7.5 years. You need to have superior people skills to work in a leadership role. You also need to have patience if the desire to move up in this company is your end game. Culture of the company is what you make it - however - beware that it is not practiced consistently between buildings which can lead to difficulties in practicing the culture at all. Outstanding work/life considerations. given."

"Been working here many years ( 5+). Great place to work if you don't mind low pay. The ranking and compensation process is not fair (good old boy's network - they vote for each other). Expect about 10-15% less than competitive salary elsewhere. Very flexible schedule. Fun projects. People are nice."
"Gore has the potential to be great and falls short when it looses site of it's greatest asset, the people. I've been employed over 15 years with friends an family serving 20-30+ years. Depending on your job description, the treatment varies greatly! I'm concerned for Gores tenured Associates in hourly positions. When they become disabled or less capable, there are devastating consequences that can result in termination. The gender and minority pay gap is real, and the hiring process has much to improve when it comes to feedback regarding interviewing. It was also shared with me that Gore hires minorities to meet demographic quotas, especially around leadership."
