"Don't expect a supportive environment and dont expect any training or managers that know not only how to manage their business, but their people as well."

"No vision or strong+positive leadership in my department. The group dynamic is spiteful+tense. Senior members of the group are resistant to new suggestions. Most of all there is little to no transparency within the group, and our group is too small to operate that way. Clear expectations are not set."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I'd appoint someone to lead my department that has a clear vision and outside management experience."
