"I interned for Whiting Petroleum Corporation for the last two summers and had a great experience doing so. The IT department in specific had a lot of great people that made going to work more enjoyable each day. However, since Whiting is an oil and gas company it makes it a much more volatile industry to work in and as a result they weren't able to offer me a position due to the market."

"I only worked at Whiting for 7 months. Nevertheless, I do not hesitate to say that it was the best place I've worked in IT. Everyone was cooperative, sharing, and focused on achieving the department goals. Even though I was caught up in the downsizing I highly recommend working in Whiting's IT department."
