"Whitepages tries to use fairly up to date tools and languages. There are some amazingly smart people that work here. The office space is beautiful and there is always plenty of food (although it is not always the healthiest food). Upper management seems to always be a step behind and that ends up putting pressure on the development teams to accrue tech debt in order to get things out the door to avoid completely missing an opportunity or to avoid losing too much ground to a competitor. Things seemingly come out of nowhere, one day, we are unaware of something, the next day it is our top priority."
