Your company needs no regulation book or rules because employees do not know when to apply them. Take superintendents (and I am sure other departments), they are told even at company meetings and classes not to perform physical work by owner. While on a project we are told by or superior to override this rule that the owner does not know what it takes to bring in a project on time. I was told numerous times the owner has no idea how to bring in a project. I suggest if an employee is paid by salary they should be paid that way not prorated. I worked 70 to 100 hours a week for a weekly salary setup for 10/6 for six to eleven months at a time with no time off or able to come home. Then when off I was prorated last week and did not even get paid for time off this is some salary. Why I was paid this way was to cheat me from being paid for all the overtime that is required to oversee projects being built. This was on every project for every superintendent not just me. So you cannot say I was a bad superintendent unless everyone else was.
