"This company is constantly hiring because they are losing people in all their sites, Appleton and Green Bay. whether people quit because they are tired of it or they got fired for no reason. The management is fake, they seem friendly and welcoming but in reality they don't care about their employees. They promise you bonuses at the hiring time, you won't ever get and their computers are very old, they break down all the time. The facilities stink and lack air, and people got sick not being to have air system right. Also, they have inexperienced women in management because they are promoted by using their unprofessional friendships with others. They have a good system to fire people so quickly that you cannot appeal or protect yourself. This company is illegal in so many ways. And that is why they are hiring all the time!"

"I worked for West Corporation for 11 months, I enjoyed several aspects of this employment opportunity, especially the flexibility of setting your own schedule. However the schedule later became a double edged sword as if you are assigned to another line group the hours available can drastically change and will have a SIGNIFICANT effect on your wallet. Call REQUIREMENTS such as Average Handle Time should have overall customer satisfaction taken into consideration before employees are written up."

"This place was horrible. Paycheck was regularly wrong, absent etc. There was no person to report that to. Payroll was in another state. The computer controlled hiring and firing etc. For example, one of the OJT supervisors had emergency surgery. She was terminated by the computer after 3 days absence. After I filled out my 2 weeks notice, I sent it through the mail (also ridiculous) and for a month after I left I got automated calls reminding me to come to work."

"Be yourself. Being fake will get you nowhere in this company. The service that is provided has to be genuine and you really need to believe in the company."

"I didn't like the lack of hours that came after working for them for nearly two years."

"I would have suggested a better scheduling system. The one that we were using was not good for the majority of people."

"Ask about the benefits before accepting a position and be certain that you understand the waiting period"

"Culture was challenging to work around and at times resulted in meetings to have meetings."

"Cost management is a good thing, however it becomes an obstacle to growth if it is the only thing."

"in all honesty I would not recommend this company to anyone I knew"

"the company's inability to care for employee concerns and relate, thus considered a very hostile work environment on a state level"

"they can achieve greater production and a significantly lower turn over rate by tweaking employee incentives"

What do you like about working at West Corp.?

"I worked for West Corp, not West at Home. At times the atomospher at work was great, but for the most part it was like working in a pressure cooker. The treat of loosing your job was always there because of the impossible standards they set for everyone. Though the inncentives were great constantlt being told that we were easily replaceable did not help the morale for the employees who worked there. Someone got fired everyday."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just be prepared to deal with extreme work stardards in order to think about getting any benefits or inncentives. It is harder to get rewarded than it is to be deciplined."

What don't you like about working at West Corp.?

"Always feeling like I was going to loose my job at a drop of a dime was horrible."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would create a pleasant work environment, and I would make sales and perfomance standards reasonable for all my employees to promote them to perform higher."

"It isn't the best if looking for a career. Good for immediate employment though."

"Great customer service experience. If you do well they will recognize you for it."
