What do you like about working at The Bartech Group?
"Well organized and an worked like an army of one with direction from the group of welding engineers"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Many ohio state employees and there seems to be a young person engineering nest that you have to break into"
What don't you like about working at The Bartech Group?
"I was a six month temp, and stayed just short of five years as the old boys were retired,..the group went from 35 persons to 7 persons."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Their managers are too young to manage properly in the welding department, al thought that was 7 years ago. The problem has probably corrected itself through management training."

"The department was closed shortly after our installation was finished. All were retired, laid off, or moved."
What do you like about working at General Motors?
"It is challenging to meet the daily requirements."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be careful of offending your personal mentoring engineer and watch for economic downturns. This depression came out of nowhere and has destroyed me personally and psychologically."
What don't you like about working at General Motors?
"The decisions were made by committees. There was no freedom to make decisions relevant to the project, which is good and bad!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"You will need launch help in the future and engineering maintenance. I don't know if I can support, due to the effects the economy has placed on me as a person but, I am still available."

"We build interesting products that make a difference in the world. I have found management to be fair and competent."

"Understand that because the workload is contract based and time sensitive, the workload will vary from intense, long hours to occasional periods of boredom."

"Being a very large company, beuracracy can sometimes slow opportunities to make improvements."

"Invest in developing products that anticipate the war of the future."
