"I love my line of work because I get to learn new things here at Case. I'm a floater which means that I'm not always in the same area. I'm sent to help in other areas to get the production done at a timely manner, I also have the opportunity to learn to operate a few of the motoman robots, how to set them up and also some troubleshooting. What I hate about being a welder: it gets too hot sometimes but that's something related to this field of work. Other than that, no issues."

"I love everything about welding, like how to combine metal components together and you can cut them in half and you can bend them and also you can learn how to do overhead welding, so I like everything about welding. The one thing I hate is the burns but I deal with it."

"I love having the ability to work with simple material and working with the same parts constantly helps to see all possible angles of discontinuity, inclusions or any non conforming material. The issues I have had are the low tolerance standards for they're parts I worked with that held the Chrysler 200 transmission bracket. 32 welds and 16/32's welds need rework. Organizational and communication skills very poor within the company."
