"I would advise people to be themselves, because one of the key attributes to become a successful Financial Advisor is to be personable."

"I did not dislike anything about the company. I just did not prefer to become a Financial Advisor."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To include an annual employee retreat that will not include cell phones and/or any electrical devices. This would allow personnel to utilize their brain capacity to brainstorm innovative ways to increase their personal business and Merrill Lynch as a whole."

"Unpaid. My manager did not teach me very much, and I left feeling like I had not learned anything"

"If you are going to hire unpaid interns, make sure you make the experience worth it."

What do you like about working at UBS?
"I liked how it prepared me to get a better feel in what a corporate environment feels like. They had me interact with clients on a daily basis and complete investment lunch seminars on a monthly basis."
What don't you like about working at UBS?
"I did not like how it was an unpaid internship but it was a great experience nonetheless."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"One thing I would suggest is to reward the interns in some way after recruiting a prospective client. This would really motivate the other interns and make them feel more appreciated."
