"I have worked for Wayfair as a Data Solutions Engineer Co-op, where I was responsible for building data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform. Wayfair is one of the companies which is growing with great speed and have adapted to the change and latest tools and requirement. They are using tools and services that can scale any kind and volume of data without affecting the ongoing services."
"The experience of funding an education while working full-time is superb with this company. Wayfair.com focuses on both the quality of their employees and the quality of their service for their clients. I always felt that there was something to contribute while working there, and I was able to implement parts of my degree in Software Development in creating metric tools for my Manager."
"Very good company to work for. Company culture is really good, my supervisor helped me out throughout my term"
"I've worked as a data analyst at Wayfair and enjoyed the work and collaboration with the cross-functional teams. I can say Wayfair helped to grow in many dimensions. That said, they offer poor compensation for the work being done."
"Wayfair is an incredibly fast-moving company with plenty of opportunities for growth. However, the decision-making process is very weak. Most executives are not very capable decision makers often keeping teams in limbo."
"I've worked for Wayfair for over a year within the Talent Acquisition org. Wayfair is a community of innovators, risk-takers, and trailblazers. We are constantly innovating our processes to meet our stakeholder's hiring goals. Our recruiters are true business partners and are charged with finding, attracting, and hiring top talent into all parts of the company against a high bar of performance, potential and culture. There are multiple opportunities to grow within the company and we value peer and stakeholder feedback for every review."
"Good place to work overall and great place to start your career. The company gives you opportunities to learn various technologies."
"Wayfair has a great place to start a career because you'll be surrounded by countless highly talented individuals and many resources to learn and develop your skills. It has a fun culture, with monthly 'pod outings' for every team and a kitchen stocked with snacks and beer. Cons: I think that upper management could do more to show they care about the well being of their employees, and in addition I think the way performance reviews are done is unfair (you're literally ranked against other people at your level in your position)."
"I worked at Wayfair as a Co-op and I must say that I have had the experience to work alongside some of the greatest minds in the Analytics space. The work culture is great, people are really helpful and the company is very data-driven."
"Great environment for personal and community growth!"
"A great work environment with a lot of upward mobility."
"I’ve worked at Wayfair on contract for 10 months. It’s a big company with nice working culture and good work life balance. All people are helpful and professional, with thorough knowledge of the tools, approaches and high industry standards"
"I’ve worked for Wayfair since July 2019. I’ve found it to be a strong company with good technical values. The company employs over 15,000 people at several locations. HQ is Boston. I think it good could be a much better company if it listens to its employees more often. The review system is broken and WLB could be better. Would recommend this company if you are just starting your career and have never worked at a large company before but there are many start-ups that have a much better culture and would pay better. Given any day, working at Wayfair better than not having a job all together."
"Great resume builder but impossible to move up outside of Boston. Wayfair is a decent job, but don't believe it is a career."
"Wayfair is an ecommerce company. Tech-stack is mostly PHP and Reactjs. Open culture. Offers good compensation and benefits."
