What do you like about working at Wauwatosa School District?
"I love being a teacher. Although I wish the climate for teachers in Wisconsin were better, I know that no matter where I teach in this state right now, I will face negativity."

"The interviewing is very competitive. Be prepared to interview in a variety of ways--on the phone, in a small group setting, and one on one. Additionally, be prepared with lesson ideas and actual answers to philosophical questions."
What don't you like about working at Wauwatosa School District?
"I don't like that decisions are made with very little input from teachers. It seems that we are informed of changes after a decision was made, and a lot of times these changes are very influential on our abilities to do our jobs."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Come to the schools very regularly and meet with teachers during times that are convenient for us to show us that you not only value our input, but also value our time. Instead of looking to the teachers constantly for financial savings, at least try to come up with other solutions."
