"Watlow was a family-owned business for almost 100 years. They have thermal solutions for products, including heaters, sensors, and controllers. They had diversified product lines that were created at 8 different locations and employed about 1200 worldwide. They recently sold their company to a venture capitalist group Tincum."

"If you're looking for raises or promotions, keep looking. The merit or they call it raises work like this you are terrible 0 percent if you do below average to outstanding 2 percent. They loved to pickup temp and rotational engineers out of college to avoid paying much. Promotions, are what they can get away with . My last 2 I got were $1. And now I found out we have to wait 6 months and do that job before we get it. The benefits are good in 1 small area. The 401k. It's a little above average. Besides that part the heath care coverage is very expensive if you get sick. Sing/fam deductibles are 3,000 or 6,000. Then a co pay also. I'm still mad, that I lost a boss because he spoke up for us. If you just go along without questioning your fine. If not, your moved out of the way like so many are."
