"The MWRD is one of the best governmental agencies to work at in the Chicagoland area. The Executive Director and Board of Commissioner's President both believe in the staff and the work at the District. It is slightly competitive to get into the District but once you are there most people never leave. Upward mobility can be challenging depending on what department/area someone works in. Some positions don't have very many lines of promotions if any, and most times there is someone in the position you are interested in. Otherwise, it's good work and a nice place to retire from."
