What do you like about working at Washington University?

"UMW is an incredibly warm community, so getting to work with its students and professors was always a pleasure. Mixing in with different IT people from various backgrounds in the field was also a plus, and made for fascinating conversation."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"For students: don't do it for extra cash, because you're technically not getting any - do it for the experience and to help out our campus. For professionals: you won't find a friendlier work environment!"

What don't you like about working at Washington University?

"They pay very little to students, and all of what you make is expected to go towards your financial aid. It was also awkward having more than a few supervisors who insisted on things being done the wrong way and who were less educated about IT than even I was at the time!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire more real professionals to guide the students and productivity will soar."
