Marketing Manager
in Landover, MD

"great experience, lots of lessons"

What do you like about working at Washington Redskins?

"It was not the store, but the managing the marketing for the premium seating department. Working in a industry that is fast paced, aggressive and often crazy was a real learning experience and the amount I learned there I would not trade for the world. It taught me just how well I manage personalities, changing priorities and projects."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If I had to provide tips for others interviewing with this company I would tell them to have a thick skin. This industry is fast paced, blunt and often harsh. One must not take things personally. They continue to be one of the top revenue generating franchises in the NFL, and if you keep an open mind and absorb every experience you get there, you will learn more about yourself and how to deal a variety of situations that you may never get the chance to experience else where."

What don't you like about working at Washington Redskins?

"The inconsistency of upper management. Not be able to directly speak to personnel who are making final decisions make completing projects and fully knowing what they need make completing projects difficult."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggests that management creates a environment where all company departments can interface easily. I was the first Marketing Manager to interface with various departments and that should not be the exception, but the rule."
