"Ask a lot of questions about your manager's work style. How they view working with other groups, what they're expectations are and their information sharing policies. You don't want to work for someone that is in one group but desperately trying to get into the movie group. Or for someone that never gives you the information that you need to do your job."

"1) The pay is 20-30% less than other competitive firms in my field. 2) My boss and most of the leadership team are very insecure, secretive and make bad decisions because they don't involve anyone but themselves. 3) It's a very political environment, which doesn't support hard work just pretty presentations and lots of talking the talk but no walking the walk."

"Stressful conditions, great games!"
What do you like about working at Warner Bros.?
"The work culture brings great people together for great things. When a team is happy working together and happy in their work, they work harder for each other and for the client. Having permanent staff that actively remind the contract workers that they are valued members of their teams as well as assets to the company is unheard of at other places. This practice keeps an otherwise unwanted job seemingly like a joy. Game testing is tough work. Being at a company that makes you feel like a person of value makes it worth while to go without benefits or competitive pay."

"Be proactive about learning what type of game play style they are looking for and be honest and enthusiastic about your own skill set. Be passionate about games."
What don't you like about working at Warner Bros.?
"The temporary contracts with no benefits and mandatory 90day breaks lead to a loss of trained personnel that have already become an investment to the company. This investment is lost when the mandatory break forces both the talent and the company to seek new employment. This causes not only a loss of money, but also a loss of morale which decreases the overall quality of work being out put."
