"Bel furniture has great workers but has horrible upper management personal."
What do you like about working at Bel Furniture?
"When you go through bad experiences with people you tend to bond. The other people working there know what it's like to work hard and generally have your back."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Management has lots of empty promises. This is a job not a career."
What don't you like about working at Bel Furniture?
"Upper management has no idea how to hear out the workers. To management if it looks good on paper then it's good to go. If it fails it's the employee's fault and never Upper management. Managers push and get as much work out of one employee as possible. If the job takes 10 guys they try 5. Always ready to cut corners and cutting worker pay is the first to go."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Try to actually work for a week in the shoes of your workers to see how the company can make things more efficient and professional. Try keeping the good workers that have been there a while as opposed to getting new ones that will quit after a few weeks."
What do you like about working at United States Marine Corps?
"I like the team work, skill building and the military structure."

"If you are up for a challenge and competitive then the Marine Corp is the job for you."
What don't you like about working at United States Marine Corps?
"Sometimes you feel as if you get mistreated or feel belittled."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would take care of my marines and make sure their needs are taken care of."
What do you like about working at Sikorsky Aircraft?
"Incredibly dull, repetitive work with no recognition from management for success, and no repercussions for lazy employees. Everyone received the same bonuses and annual raises regardless of contribution"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Ask about growth opportunity, then disregard anything they tell you. All positions are filled from the outside - In my 5 years there, I only saw one person promoted internally, whereas more than 10 people were brought into the company. When current employees asked why they weren't encouraged to apply (or even informed of the position that wasn't posted) management actually said I didn't think anyone here was qualified, so I didn't post it. If you're looking for a dead-end career, this is the place for you."
What don't you like about working at Sikorsky Aircraft?
"Having three to four different managers ask you on a daily basis what you're doing and if you're done yet is incredibly irritating, especially when the managers have no idea what you're working on. Also, receiving conflicting assignments or being overloaded because management refuse to communicate amongst themselves is an indicator that the wrong people are in charge. Honestly, most of the managers were promoted based on the old boys club."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take into account that the employees are people - not worker bees. The opinions and views of the employees matter - if management listens to employee needs, the work environment would be much more pleasant"

"The job was very challenging. We started with just two facilities and ended up with 6 throughout the last 10 years."

"I didn't have the opportunity to meet people form this new company."

"The industry is shrinking. One company is growing and our company is being left behind."

"We need a new marketing strategy. We need to offer 'packages to the clients."

"the work flow comes and goes in waves, but just work at a steady pace and you will be fine"
