"Management stinks: rather than inspiring people to greatness, they intimidate people into submission. It's all about process, for process' sake. They give lots of lip service to putting the "guest" first, but it's really all about project funding, building up management fiefdoms which are measured as the number of direct reports, and making their boss look good so they can climb the ladder themselves."
