"Wal-Mart is bad for your health, wealth, and spirituality."

What do you like about working at Walmart?

"Some of the people I worked with were awesome."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't work there unless you have never worked anywhere else and don;t know how people should be treated. Don't work there unless you can put in more than 45 hours a week. Don't work there unless you are willing to have absolutely no say about anything they do to you. Don't work there if you can get a job anywhere else doing anything else."

What don't you like about working at Walmart?

"Too much expected for too little in return. It is run as a dictatorship. Think Borg. There are very few, intelligent people who would allow everything about their lives to be dictated by their company. Their hypocrisy reaches a whole new level. Love, kindness, generosity comes out of one side of their mouth, and physiological terrorism out the other."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You have to fix the problem at the root. As long as you use physiological terrorism to to force things your way, you will continue to have sick, unhealthy people working for you. Stop the 45 hour work week, you aren't getting anymore work out of people by doing this anyway. Stop expecting more than people can give. You have some awesome folks who work there, but you also have some real serious problems. Allow people to make decisions about their work and their career. You should not try to be their daddy or their God, you are just their employer."
