What do you like about working at OneMain Financial?

"Having worked in legal and compliance, I always felt that my company wanted to do the right thing and was dedicated to being fair to our customers."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Simply be aware that the company is for sale and could be either merged with another financial services company or bought by private equity and each of these options could have a drastic effect on central operations (home office.)"

What don't you like about working at OneMain Financial?

"We are a subsidiary of CitI and therefore, we were negatively affected by the financial services collapse even though it was of no fault of my subsidiary. As a result, in an effort to increase capital, CitI placed my subsidiary in a Holdings Company and put us on the market for sale, which resulted in more than 2,000 of us losing our jobs."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management at my company is under a lot of stress to reduce to spending and improve profitability, while being forced to close offices, sell loans and reduce staff. I feel as though they are doing the best they can with the hand they were dealt."

"As with development, it is feast or famine. The work is not as continuous as I prefer."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"P3 International is not looking for additional local staff as most of its work is international and requires alliances with international firms, not individuals."

"Lack of integrity in the CEO. Definitely not a position that leads by an example."

"Replace the CEO and provide the necessary capital to adequately do the job."

"The people are outstanding and demonstrated it every day with their attitude. Their is also both a willingness to share their knowledge with me as well as to learn from me."

"Before interviewing with the company asses your tolerance for risk and deferred compensation. The company presents a high risk for continued existence and your compensation will be minimal but with a potential for higher compensation in the event of a turnaround."

What don't you like about working at Apparel Manufacturing Group?

"As a result of a string of financial set backs the company is currently pursuing additional capital investment."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"More attention in the pursuit of sales with our core business and pursuit of additional revenue sources should be the sole focus of the enterprise. A positive contribution margin is better than no contribution margin."
